Breast Cancer
Awareness Month

Celebrate with A Time to Heal:
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

A Time to Heal was founded in 2005 by breast cancer survivor, Dr. Kay Ryan and oncology psychologist Dr. Stephanie Koraleski. For our first few years, A Time to Heal offered survivorship classes specifically for breast cancer survivors! We are incredibly proud of our history of serving these survivors and ask for your help celebrating this month! See all the ways you can get involved below, and share this page with your friends and loved ones.

If you would like to uplift cancer survivors, and the caregivers who help them along the way, please consider making a gift to A Time to Heal! During the month of October, if you give a gift in honor or memory of someone special affected by breast cancer, you can find those tributes on our special Breast Cancer Awareness Tribute page, and year-round on our tributes page.

Thank you and all cancer survivors who have chosen to make A Time to Heal part of their survivor journey – cheers to spending many more Octobers with YOU!

“I was feeling kind of lost, but A Time to Heal’s survivorship class helped me feel connected to others doing the same thing and see a path forward. I’m so thankful for the zoom format. Thank you a million times!” – Cara Houston,
